These terms govern your use of clearpence — the Chrome extension and web dashboard at clearpence.com. By installing the extension or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, email support@clearpence.com.
clearpence connects to your eBay seller account using eBay’s official Sell APIs and exports your transactions, payouts, and fees as clean CSVs. It also provides a web dashboard with reconciliation and profit reporting derived from the same data.
You must be at least 18 years old, and you must own (or be authorised to act on behalf of) the eBay seller account you connect. You agree not to use clearpence with an eBay account you do not have lawful access to.
You agree to use clearpence only for your own eBay seller data, and not to:
clearpence has two plans: Free and Pro. Free is available at no cost with the limits described on the pricing page. Pro is £12 per month or £99 per year (saving 31% versus monthly).
Billing is handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process payments. We never see or store your card details. By subscribing to Pro you also accept ExtensionPay’s and Stripe’s terms.
clearpence shows you the data eBay returns through its Finances and Fulfillment APIs. We don’t independently audit it. Our profit figures are estimates derived from your transactions, fees, shipping label charges, and the per-SKU costs you enter.
This is not a substitute for professional accounting advice. Always verify figures with your accountant before using them for tax returns, VAT submissions, or any other official reporting. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of estimated figures.
We aim to keep clearpence available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on eBay’s APIs, on Supabase, on Vercel, and on other providers; outages or breaking changes on their side can affect us. We’re a small operation — we don’t offer formal SLAs.
You own your eBay data. We don’t claim any rights over it; we process it on your behalf to provide the service.
We own the clearpence extension, backend, dashboard, and website (including text, design, and code). You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as expressly allowed by these terms or by law.
You can stop using clearpence at any time by cancelling your subscription (if any), disconnecting your eBay account, and uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if your use of the service threatens the security or availability of the system.
When your account is closed, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of clearpence.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
